Make someone happy!

Description: Assembly on Monday will be about Children's Week and encourage students to do at least 1 thing each day for someone else to make them happy. We will be watching a video that celebrates students achievements this year. Staff will be encouraged to celebrate students achievements this week in classes.


CareWays Children’s Week Event

Description: Free community event for children 0-5 years and their parents and carers. We will have healthy morning tea, the superhero wrestlers, craft, face painting, Billy Backpack transition to school mascot, and the butterfly experience tent! Fantastic free event celebrating childhood with CareWays at the Dapto Neighbourhood Centre 93-109 Princes Hwy Dapto.


Children's Week 2018 in Muswelbrook.

Description: We do a lot of promotion of awareness campaigns/weeks on our Facebook Page. It seems to work well in our community to get the word out. We would cross promote the event and encourage families to come and chat to us about children friendly events and programs happening during the week: Fun Time Playgroup - Monday. Wednesday - Music and Playgroup. Thursday - Muswellbrook Moves - friendly free family morning. Friday - Cinema Under The Stars - family friendly movie FREE!

Celebrating Children’s week at SCOOSH

Description: The children at South Cronulla OOSH will be celebrating children’s week every afternoon with lots of fun activities and experiences. We will be finishing the celebrations with an incursion on Friday ‘Push the limits’.


Kids Fest and Barooga Mud Run

Description: Help us to celebrate Childrens Week at our annual Kids Fest enjoy a sausage cooked by local Lions Clubs and orange juice compliments of Tocumwal Rotary Club and Smithers Orchards. There will be face painting, henna tattoos, art in the park and childrens entertainer. Join us in Berrigan 23 October at Apex Park, Finley 24 October at Memorial Park, Tocumwal 25 October CWA Park (beside the library) and this year Barooga will host the Mud Run - to be held at Barooga Recreation Reserve. Remember the Mud Run is messy and for kids aged 2 years to 13 years of age. Cost: Free


Library on the Lawn at the Camelia Gardens

Description: In this special outdoor Storytime to celebrate Children's Week, join us on the lawn near the children's playground for songs, rhymes and stories. Featuring lots of picture books for littlies and their parents to share together. Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy the reading fun.


Children's Sensory Garden Open Day

Description: Come and celebrate Children's Week in the garden! Auburn Friendship Garden will be celebrating the grand opening of its Children's Sensory Garden on Wednesday 24 October 2018 between 10am - 2pm. Children can enjoy a day of fun and play with free activities like arts & crafts and the Taronga Zoomobile, plus learn how to understand trees using their senses with the Tree Veneration Society! There will be much more to experience and enjoy on the day including: - Robotics workshop - Loose Parts Play - Plant workshop - Face painting - Balloon twisting - Henna - Performances - Art demonstration / workshop Plus a free lunch from the SSI Food For Thought food truck on a first come first served basis!
